Our Eyes Are Mirror Images

Blogging; I started for these reasons: I get bored and play dress up a lot, I come up with fantastic outfits and never wear them, & I love taking pictures. I need to get better at actually wearing my wardrobe creations. Today was a step forward. I wore this short (short!) Forever 21 skirt that I've been dying to wear. & I wore it at 9 in the morning. I thought it was questionable for morning wear but then at the thought of changing I said screw it.

Today, I saw Inception with one of my best friends. I heard mixed reviews. My sister loved it but my brother hated it. Currently I'm torn. It was a good movie, but I didn't like it. I side completely with my brother. The action scenes were very cool but the plot wasn't captivating the way I expected it to be. Maybe I was expecting too much from all the hype?

Anyway, today was a good day.

Come Lay With Me On The Ground

Summer. Blegh, I honestly have done nothing these past few weeks. I'm such a bum.

I bought this dress today with the money I saved. My mom laughed at me and said I have too many dresses. I scoffed and said that was nonsense. Often I complain that I having too many clothes but thats because I don't have the space for my expanding wardrobe. What is a shopaholic to do?

Pages Turned On Calendars

Summer days are uncatchable. I waste so much time laying around being hot that the days slip away. Then I wonder where my summer went. You can't catch up, even when the days seem like they're slowing down.
Usually I lay around and don't go anywhere so this is me on the regular:
I wore this to Target and the dollar movies with my mom. We saw Date Night, which was ok, except most of the jokes were in all the commercials. I expected a little more but it was still entertaining. I mean, how could it not with Tina Fey and Steve Carell?

Five minutes into taking these pictures I started to sweat. It's so hot, even at sunset.
Toby likes to take pictures too.I took me halfway through these pictures to realize my camera was on the wrong setting for my quick 2 second timer movements. So I apologize for the blurry pictures.

Spending Warm Summer Days Indoors

In another life I think this dress would be sailing the ocean blue, stopping off for a party or two. Maybe it's the anchor buttons, or the capped sleeves that make this dress seem like it should be out in the water fighting pirates or something dangerously cool.
Yesterday I wore this when I went to the mall of GA with my brother and a friend to see Toy Story 3. It's strange how the story has aged with us older fans. The movie is definitely an emotional roller-coaster (like all Disney Pixar films); it'll jerk the tears right out of you. I loved it, but then again I'm a sucker for a good kids movie.Ugh. I'm trying really hard not to scratch my bug bites!
